Accuracy and transparency
Editorial and Preservation Policy
Standards for historical restoration, current project claims, corrections, citations, and technical documentation.
1. Historical content
- •Preserve original meaning and context.
- •Label adaptations, summaries, and reconstructed material.
- •Retain original URLs where they carry relevant links or citations.
- •Distinguish verified facts from editorial interpretation.
- •Correct errors transparently when reliable evidence is available.
2. Current project claims
- •Do not describe planned software as released.
- •Do not claim security properties without current evidence.
- •Do not imply endorsement by original contributors, GNU, or FSF.
- •Identify TwoSquares as steward of the independent revival.
3. Historical references
Historical project paths are retained when they correspond to meaningful technical material. Missing resources retain an accurate not-found response until an authentic source can be recovered.
