Maintained revival documentation

Current Documentation

The home for current, tested documentation created by the independent GNU Telephony revival.

The software implementation has not yet been selected. These pages document requirements and boundaries, not installation-ready software.

1. Documentation areas

  • •Getting started and project status.
  • •Modern architecture principles.
  • •Security boundaries and threat-model requirements.
  • •Development workflow and quality standards.

2. Historical documentation

Original manuals, project announcements, and deployment guides remain under /documentation/ and their historical /index.php/ paths. They are preserved references and are not silently presented as current instructions.

3. Publication standard

  • •Every current guide must identify the supported version.
  • •Commands must be tested before publication.
  • •Security-sensitive guidance requires explicit review.
  • •Deprecated instructions must retain a clear replacement or archive link.
